This Privacy Policy explains how [Legal entity name as shown on Google Play / App Store] ("Sportizz", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Sportizz mobile app and the website sportizz.com (together, the "Service"). The Service lets players find and register for sports tournaments and book venues, and lets organizers run tournaments, venues and bookings.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: name, mobile number and password (stored only in hashed form). Mobile numbers are verified with a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS.
• Player profile: first and last name, favourite sports, team memberships, tournament registrations, match results and rankings.
• Organizer profile: organizer and venue details, tournaments, time slots, bookings and the bank details you enter to receive payouts.
• Payments: entry fees and bookings are paid through Razorpay. We receive the payment status and transaction reference; we do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank login details.
• Messages to us: anything you send through Contact Us, inquiries or email.

Information collected automatically

• Device information: a device identifier and push-notification token so we can send you match, registration and booking notifications.

2. How we use information

• To create and secure your account and verify your mobile number.
• To run tournaments, registrations, fixtures, live scoring, results and rankings.
• To process payments, bookings, refunds and organizer payouts.
• To send notifications about matches, registrations, bookings and account activity.
• To respond to support requests and keep the Service safe and working.

3. How information is shared

• Between players and organizers: when you register for a tournament or book a venue, the organizer sees the details needed to manage it (such as your name and mobile number). Players see organizer contact details. Player names, teams, scores and rankings for a tournament may be visible to other users of the Service.
• Service providers: Razorpay (payments), [SMS/OTP provider name] (verification messages), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service (notifications), and [hosting provider, e.g. Amazon Web Services] (hosting). They process data only to provide these services to us.
• Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and Sportizz.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising.

4. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your personal information as described on our account deletion page, except records we must keep by law (for example payment and tax records, kept for [retention period, e.g. 8 years]).

5. Your choices and rights

• Edit your profile in the app at any time.
• Turn off notifications in your device settings.

6. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and passwords are stored hashed. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children
